A first skin consultation at Glow Cosmetique in Springvale is $150 and runs for 90 minutes. It covers a full assessment of what your skin is doing and why, and ends with a written skin plan you keep — whether or not you book any treatment afterwards.
A skin consultation is an assessment, not a sales appointment. Most people arrive having already spent money on something that didn't suit them. Wanting to know what is actually going on before you commit to anything is reasonable. That is the job this appointment does.
The 90 minutes moves through four stages: your history, a close examination of your skin, a plain-language discussion of what the assessment shows, and a written plan. Nothing is recommended until the assessment is finished.
1. History. What you have used, what you have tried, what changed and when. Skin behaves in context — environment, timing and habit all leave a record, and the record matters more than any single product decision. 2. Examination. A close look at what your skin is actually doing now — texture, congestion, pigmentation, redness — rather than what a label or a trend says it should be doing. 3. Discussion. What the assessment shows, in plain language. That includes what is not clear. If the honest answer is uncertain, that is what gets said. 4. The written plan. No. Treatment is optional and never assumed. The $150 consultation fee is not credited against treatment, so the recommendation is not shaped by what it might sell. The written plan is yours to keep, and it works at another clinic, or at home.

Every price at Glow is published in full. A glass skin facial is $250. A peptide infusion facial is $150. Microneedling with BioRePeel is $300–$350. There are no packages and no quotes on request — the full list is on the pricing page.
Publishing prices is unusual in this category. The reason is simple: you cannot decide whether something is worth it if nobody will tell you what it costs.
Sometimes the recommendation after a full assessment is to wait. Sometimes it is to do nothing for now. No treatment today is a valid outcome of a consultation. Skin changes over time, and the appropriate response to some of what it does is patience.
That is worth stating before you book, not after. Results vary, and some people see no change from a given treatment. A plan that says so is more useful than one that promises. If the timing is wrong, the plan says wait, and the reasons go in writing.
A skin consultation cannot diagnose a medical condition, and at Glow it does not try. A registered nurse describes what skin is doing and does not treat pathology. If anything in the assessment looks medical, it goes to your GP — every time, noted in the plan.
That line does not move. GP care sits outside anything Glow sells, and a consultation is not a substitute for it. What the appointment can do is narrow the guesswork on everything that is not medical — which, for most skin, is most of it.
Every consultation at Glow is led by a registered nurse. Registration is checkable: every registered nurse in Australia appears by name on the Ahpra public register of practitioners, with registration type and any conditions listed.
